Privacy policy
The short version: you don't need an account, we never ask about your health, and the diet quiz runs entirely in your browser. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and records things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that sent you, your rough location (country or city) and your device and browser. We use it only to see which guides help people and what to improve. We don't use it to identify you, and we don't sell it.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
The diet quiz and search
Your quiz answers and search terms stay in your browser. They aren't sent to us or stored anywhere.
Server logs
Our web host automatically records technical details such as IP address, browser, the page requested and the time. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply. Please don't send medical records or other sensitive health details. We won't share your email with anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the UK, EU, Canada, Australia and some US states, you can ask what information we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Email hello@onlinediets.com.
