About
How we review content
Before a guide goes live, it's checked against reliable sources, stripped of overblown claims, and given clear safety notes. Here's what that involves, and what it doesn't.
The checks every page goes through
- It answers a clear question someone actually asks.
- Every health claim is checked against a reputable source, and the source is linked.
- Words like "proven", "cures" and "detox" are removed unless the evidence really supports them.
- Anyone who should talk to a doctor first is told so plainly.
- The page shows when it was last updated.
Who does the checking
The guides are written and edited by Greg Parsons, the site's founder. Greg is not a doctor or registered dietitian. His job is getting the facts, sources and wording right, not clinical judgement.
What hasn't happened yet
No doctor or registered dietitian has formally reviewed our health content. If that changes, we'll name the reviewer here with their real credentials. We won't suggest it has happened before it has.
Until then, treat what you read here as a well-sourced starting point, and check anything important with a professional. Our medical disclaimer explains more.
